As a Senior Data Engineer within the Item Execution and Instrumentation Group, you will be at the heart of arenaflex’s data platform evolution. Your work will enable seamless data flow across the entire product lifecycle—from ingestion and onboarding to analytics and insight delivery—ensuring that business stakeholders have reliable, high‑performance data to drive strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and platforms using Scala, Python, and arenaflex technologies, adhering to strict uptime Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Architect scalable ETL solutions for massive data environments, supporting both cloud‑native and hybrid on‑premise deployments.
- Lead the transition to a Lakehouse‑driven data platform, collaborating closely with product owners, data architects, and analytics teams.
- Implement best‑in‑class data governance, documentation, and quality controls to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams—including data product managers, data scientists, and business analysts—to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement through agile and scrum practices, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and rapid iteration.
- Identify automation opportunities, streamline processes, and reduce operational costs while maintaining high reliability.

Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven expertise in algorithmic problem‑solving and data structures.
