Role Overview

The Customer Service Representative position at arenaflex is the heartbeat of the store floor. You will be the first point of contact for shoppers, guiding them through product selections, handling transactions with precision, and ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Greet every guest with a warm, approachable demeanor; actively listen to their needs and provide knowledgeable assistance.
  • Merchandise Assistance: Help shoppers locate items, suggest complementary products, and answer questions about pricing, promotions, and store policies.
  • Transaction Management: Accurately process sales using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, handle cash, credit, and digital payments, and issue receipts or refunds as required.
  • Store Upkeep: Maintain tidy aisles, organized shelves, and well‑stocked displays; ensure that promotional signage is current and visible.
  • Stockroom Operations: Unload deliveries, sort merchandise, and transport items from the stockroom to the sales floor efficiently and safely.
  • Safety & Security: Monitor the store floor for suspicious activity, assist with loss‑prevention initiatives, and respond promptly to any safety concerns.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow associates, supervisors, and management to achieve daily sales targets and uphold arenaflex’s standards of service.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in training sessions, share feedback on store processes, and adopt best practices to enhance the shopper experience.
  • Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks assigned by management that contribute to a profitable and efficient store operation.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to comprehend and follow retail operational documents is required.
  • Experience: Prior experience in retail, hospitality, restaurant, grocery, or pharmacy environments is advantageous, though not mandatory.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 40 lb regularly (occasionally up to 55 lb), stand for extended periods, walk, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive motions safely.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the demands of a high‑traffic retail environment.
