What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a High Volume of Customer Inquiries: Manage a continuous flow of inbound live chat requests from prospective car buyers visiting automotive dealer websites. Respond promptly, professionally, and with empathy to a wide variety of questions, ranging from vehicle availability to financing options and dealership hours.
  • Provide Accurate, Up-to-Date Product and Service Information: Serve as a knowledgeable digital concierge, delivering precise information about the dealer's inventory, promotional offers, services, and policies. You'll be trained to confidently address common automotive queries and to know exactly when and how to escalate more complex questions.
  • Schedule Appointments That Drive Revenue: Identify customer intent, narrow down appointment preferences such as preferred date, time, and vehicle of interest, and schedule showroom or test-drive appointments that convert online interest into real-world dealership visits.
  • Capture and Verify Customer Contact Information: Collect and confirm key contact details—including name, email, phone number, and vehicle preference—to generate high-quality leads for dealer clients and enable post-chat follow-up.
  • Summarize Interactions for Client Review: Document every conversation thoroughly and accurately, summarizing customer needs, pain points, objections, and next steps. Your summaries help dealership teams understand their customers and tailor their follow-up strategies.
  • Build and Maintain a Continuously Evolving Knowledge Base: Stay current on the latest automotive trends, dealership offerings, manufacturer promotions, and product updates. Contribute to a team-wide knowledge base that helps the entire arenaflex chat operation stay sharp and informed.

Essential Qualifications

  • Residency Requirement: You must reside in one of the following approved states: Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, or Wisconsin.
  • Computer & Internet Setup: You must own or have reliable access to a personal computer or laptop equipped with a working webcam and microphone, along with a stable, high-speed internet connection.
  • Basic Internet and Windows-Based Computer Skills: Comfort navigating multiple browser tabs, chat platforms, and Windows-based applications is essential. Prior experience with live chat software, CRM platforms, or messaging tools is a strong plus.
  • Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Exceptional grammar, spelling, punctuation, and the ability to craft warm, professional, and persuasive messages in real time are a must. You should be able to adapt your tone to suit a wide range of customer personalities.
  • Multitasking Ability: The ability to handle multiple chat conversations simultaneously while staying accurate, friendly, and efficient is critical. Candidates with gaming experience often excel here, given the similarities in managing multiple inputs at once.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

In your first 30 days, you'll complete our immersive paid training program and begin handling live chats with guidance and support from our team leads and trainers. By the end of your first 90 days, you'll be independently managing a full queue of customer conversations, hitting quality and lead conversion targets, and feeling confident in your ability to represent arenaflex and our dealer clients with professionalism and personality.
