We are currently seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and client-focused Remote Loan Servicing Customer Service Representative to join our growing loan operations team. This is a part-time contract position (up to 30 hours per week) operating remotely within the United States. The role is essential to the day-to-day servicing of our active loan portfolio, supporting both existing borrowers and prospective clients who depend on arenaflex for responsive, knowledgeable, and trustworthy service.

Key Responsibilities

As a Loan Servicing Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for clients seeking information, support, and guidance on their real estate loan accounts. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing Inbound Communications: Answering a steady volume of phone calls, emails, and digital inquiries related to arenaflex loan products and active servicing accounts, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to professionalism and care.
  • Providing Accurate Product and Account Information: Clearly explaining loan terms, payment structures, application procedures, and servicing timelines to current borrowers and prospective clients in language that is easy to understand.
  • Guiding Loan Applications and Documentation: Walking new applicants through the loan application process step by step, including required documentation, underwriting milestones, and expected turnaround times.
  • Resolving Account Issues: Investigating and resolving borrower concerns related to payment processing, escrow accounts, late fees, account statements, and transaction discrepancies.
  • Proactive Follow-Up: Tracking open inquiries and ensuring timely, effective follow-up to deliver an outstanding customer experience and prevent escalations.
  • Accurate Documentation: Recording all client interactions, account changes, complaints, and resolutions in the company CRM system with precision and attention to detail.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with loan officers, underwriters, and the broader servicing team to escalate complex issues and ensure seamless handoffs that protect the client relationship.
  • Maintaining Regulatory and Policy Compliance: Adhering strictly to all company policies, state and federal lending regulations, and industry best practices in every customer interaction.
  • Continuous Learning: Staying current on arenaflex loan products, internal policy updates, and evolving regulatory requirements to provide accurate and compliant service.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must bring the following qualifications and experience:

  • Real Estate Loan Servicing Experience: A minimum of 1–2 years of direct experience in loan servicing, mortgage lending, or a closely related financial services role. Candidates without real estate lending experience will not be considered for this position.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to explain complex loan terms, payment structures, and regulatory requirements in a clear and approachable manner.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating Microsoft Office applications, CRM platforms, and modern phone systems. Prior experience with loan origination systems (LOS) or servicing platforms is highly valued.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Resourceful and analytical when handling customer concerns, with the judgment to know when to resolve an issue independently and when to escalate appropriately.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in documenting customer interactions and managing account data, with a strong commitment to accuracy in a compliance-driven environment.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: A genuine passion for helping clients succeed financially and a track record of delivering exceptional service experiences.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills

While not required, the following attributes will help candidates stand out:

  • Familiarity with a range of real estate loan products, including fix-and-flip loans, bridge loans, rental property financing, construction loans, and traditional mortgages.
  • Prior experience working remotely as a customer service or loan servicing professional.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple communication channels simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
  • Self-motivation and discipline to thrive in a remote, part-time contractor environment.
