Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day

Frontline Guest Interaction

  • Greet passengers warmly as they arrive at the ticketing area, creating an inviting atmosphere.
  • Provide clear, courteous guidance on airport layout, gate locations, and service amenities.
  • Assist travelers with self‑service kiosks, including check‑in, boarding‑pass printing, and baggage tag generation.
  • Maintain kiosk functionality by loading paper, cleaning surfaces, and performing routine upkeep.
  • Troubleshoot kiosk technology issues, escalating complex problems to the IT support team.
  • Verify that carry‑on baggage complies with FAA and arenaflex policies (size, weight, quantity).
  • Review and clear travel documents (passports, visas) using the Timatic database for international itineraries.
  • Facilitate checked‑baggage processing, including credit‑card transactions, self‑tagging, and weight verification.
  • Manage queue flow by directing passengers to appropriate service counters based on departure times and assistance needs.
  • Activate self‑tagged baggage at the activation station and physically move luggage to designated areas.
  • Assist with oversized items such as sporting equipment, assistive devices, and special‑handling baggage, ensuring policy compliance.
  • Refer complex inquiries to dedicated Customer Service Agents when necessary.
  • Support non‑ambulatory passengers, unaccompanied minors, and travelers with special assistance throughout the terminal.
  • Provide gate information, announcements, and paging services as required.
  • Adhere to all government regulations (DOT, FAA, TSA) and arenaflex policies, including uniform standards and safety protocols.
  • Complete mandatory training, overtime, weekend, and holiday shifts to meet operational demands.

Operational Excellence & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with airport security teams to secure appropriate badges and access privileges.
  • Utilize multiple internal systems and resources to resolve passenger concerns efficiently.
  • Document and report incidents, service disruptions, and customer feedback to management.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting enhancements to processes and technology.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with collective bargaining agreements.

Essential Qualifications – What You Need to Succeed

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Fluent reading, writing, and speaking abilities in English; bilingual proficiency is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license where required by local regulations.
  • Successful completion of pre‑employment drug screening, background check, and fingerprinting.
  • Eligibility to obtain FAA criminal background clearance for unescorted access to secure airport areas.
  • Ability to secure necessary airport authority and U.S. Customs security badges, if applicable.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Sabre or other Passenger Service Systems (PSS).
  • Prior face‑to‑face customer service experience in fast‑paced environments such as retail, hospitality, or travel.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle high‑volume interactions while maintaining composure and accuracy.
  • Technical aptitude for troubleshooting kiosk and self‑service equipment.
