Position Overview

As an Entry Level Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for customers of major Fortune 500 companies. Your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding customer support through inbound phone calls, chat messages, and email responses. You will help customers navigate inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience with every interaction.

This is a 100% remote, freelance, part-time opportunity open to U.S.-based contractors. The role is ideal for self-starters who thrive in a structured yet independent work environment and who take pride in delivering professional, empathetic, and effective service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound phone calls in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
  • Respond to customer chat messages and emails with accuracy, clarity, and empathy.
  • Identify customer needs, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective solutions on the first call whenever possible.
  • Document customer interactions accurately in internal systems and update account information as needed.

Earnings and Revenue Potential

At arenaflex, independent contractors are compensated competitively for their time and expertise. While exact rates depend on the client and program, our contractors typically earn between $14 and $20 per hour.

  • Pay is determined by your phone call status when assisting customers, meaning you are compensated for the time you spend actively serving customers.
  • Additional incentives may be available based on client-specific performance metrics, giving you the opportunity to boost your earnings.

Technology and Equipment Requirements

To deliver the best possible service, arenaflex contractors must have a reliable home office setup. Please review the following technical requirements carefully before applying:

  • A quiet and secure work environment free from interruptions during scheduled work hours.
  • A personal computer with a minimum of 8GB of RAM. Tablets and Chromebooks are not permitted for this role.
  • A wired USB headset with a microphone for clear, professional communication.
  • High-speed wired internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps download speed. Mobile home internet (such as T-Mobile or Verizon) and satellite internet services cannot be used.
  • Operating system requirements: Windows 10 or Windows 11. Some clients may accept AppleOS.
  • Valid and up-to-date antivirus software installed on your computer.
  • A smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad is required for program work, along with an authentication app for secure access.

Work Environment Requirements

Creating a productive and distraction-free workspace is essential for success in this role. Contractors are expected to maintain:

  • A quiet, uninterrupted space for handling customer interactions.
  • An organized desk area that supports focus and efficiency.

arenaflex is able to work with contractors residing in the following states and territories:

  • Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming, and Puerto Rico.

All contractors must successfully pass a criminal background check prior to assignment.

Contractual Relationship

Your relationship with arenaflex is a contractual one. You will remain an independent contractor for the duration of your program assignment. As an independent contractor, arenaflex will not withhold taxes on your earnings. When you receive your contract, you will be asked to acknowledge that you have no claim against arenaflex for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker's compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind. This arrangement provides you with the freedom and flexibility of self-employment while partnering with a reputable support services company.
