Position Overview

arenaflex is hiring a detail-oriented and highly organized Remote Data Entry Specialist to support our travel industry operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and managing a wide range of travel-related data, including client profiles, booking details, reservation records, and contractual documentation. Your work will form the informational backbone of our travel services, ensuring that reservations teams, customer support agents, and management have access to reliable, up-to-date information at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Input and Maintenance: Accurately enter and maintain travel-related information into arenaflex’s database systems, including bookings, reservations, client profiles, supplier details, and itinerary components. Ensure all records are complete, correctly formatted, and updated in a timely manner.
  • Quality Assurance and Audits: Conduct routine reviews and audits of existing data to verify accuracy, identify inconsistencies, and correct errors. Maintain strict adherence to company standards for data integrity and presentation.
  • Digital Record Management: Organize, archive, and manage digital records related to travel bookings, vendor contracts, customer communications, and internal documentation. Ensure records are easily retrievable and properly categorized.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the reservations, customer service, and operations teams to ensure smooth data exchange and consistent information flow across the organization. Respond promptly to data-related requests and inquiries.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on key performance metrics, booking trends, and operational statistics. Present findings in a clear, organized format to support data-driven decision-making at arenaflex.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline data entry workflows, reduce redundancies, and improve overall efficiency. Recommend tools, templates, or process changes that enhance productivity.
  • Compliance and Confidentiality: Ensure all data handling practices comply with applicable data protection regulations and arenaflex’s internal policies. Safeguard sensitive client and company information at all times.
  • Customer and Internal Support: Provide courteous and professional assistance to customers and colleagues regarding data inquiries, information lookups, and general administrative support related to information management.

Essential Qualifications

  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent required. A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, information systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant Experience: Prior experience in data entry, administrative support, or a similar role, preferably within the travel, hospitality, or customer service industry.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to enter and manage data with a high degree of accuracy, catching discrepancies and resolving them independently.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook) and familiarity with database systems, CRM platforms, or travel management software.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Basic understanding of data protection standards such as GDPR or similar privacy frameworks.
  • Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute with high accuracy.
  • Prior exposure to reporting tools or dashboard software such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
