Customer Service Associate – Locker Operations, Package Handling & Front-Line Retail Support at arenaflex

Remote Full-time Live

Join arenaflex and Become the Friendly Face Behind Every Package Pickup

Are you a people-first professional who thrives on solving problems, staying active, and creating moments that matter for customers? arenaflex is looking for motivated, energetic, and dependable Customer Service Associates to support our growing network of Locker+ retail locations. These hybrid storefront-and-warehouse spaces are designed to give customers a seamless, self-service option for receiving and returning packages — and you’ll be the human connection that turns a routine pickup into a five-star experience.

At arenaflex, we believe every interaction is an opportunity to delight. Our associates go far beyond scanning labels and handing over boxes. They answer questions, troubleshoot issues, organize inventory, and build genuine relationships with neighbors, commuters, students, and busy professionals who count on our lockers to simplify their day. If you love variety in your workday, enjoy physical activity, and take pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this role is built for you.

We’re hiring across multiple retail partner locations, including freestanding stores, partner retailers, Whole Foods Market storefronts, and warehouse lobby kiosks. No matter where you’re assigned, you’ll be part of a supportive team that values safety, inclusivity, and personal growth. arenaflex provides paid training, modern tools, and a workplace culture that has consistently been ranked among the best in the world.

What You’ll Do Each Day as a Customer Service Associate

Your role combines light warehouse operations with front-line customer engagement. Every shift brings something new, and your ability to stay organized, friendly, and focused will define your success. Below is a detailed breakdown of your core responsibilities:

  • Receive, Pick, and Stow Customer Orders: Unload incoming truck deliveries, scan items into inventory, and stock packages in designated locker compartments or storage areas. Accuracy is critical — every package must end up in the right hands.
  • Process Customer Returns: Inspect returned items, verify condition, log them into the system, and prepare them for outbound shipping or restocking. You’ll help customers navigate the return process with patience and clarity.
  • Assist Customers in Person: Greet walk-in customers, help them locate their orders, walk them through the locker retrieval process, and resolve any confusion. You may also assist customers placing new orders or scheduling pickups.
  • Problem-Solve on the Spot: When a code doesn’t work, a locker is stuck, or a package is missing, you’ll be the one who calmly investigates, contacts the right support channels, and finds a resolution that leaves the customer satisfied.
  • Maintain a Clean, Safe, and Organized Workspace: Keep the counter area, locker bays, and back-of-house storage tidy throughout your shift. A clean site is a safe site, and arenaflex takes both seriously.
  • Manage Site Operations: Depending on your schedule and location, you may be responsible for opening or closing the Locker+ site. This includes system checks, cash handling (where applicable), securing inventory, and preparing the space for the next day’s traffic.
  • Use Technology with Confidence: You’ll work daily with smartphones, handheld scanners, tablets, and proprietary arenaflex software to sort, track, and prepare orders. Comfort with tech is a plus — and we’ll teach you the rest.
  • Receive Truck Deliveries: Help unload vendor and carrier trucks, verify shipment manifests, and report discrepancies. You may also help load outbound trucks with returned or re-routed packages.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

This is an active, on-your-feet role. We provide accommodations wherever possible and encourage applicants of all backgrounds to apply. Here’s what to expect physically:

  • Lift, carry, push, and pull packages weighing up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Stand and walk for shifts lasting up to five hours at a time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items efficiently across the site.
  • Navigate stairs when working at multi-level locations.
  • Be available to work part-time schedules between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., with days and hours varying week to week based on business needs.

What It’s Like Inside an arenaflex Locker+ Location

Understanding your environment helps you succeed. Here’s a snapshot of what associates experience daily:

  • Safety First: arenaflex provides protective gear, safety training, and a culture where every team member is encouraged to speak up about hazards. Safety tips are shared at the start of each shift.
  • Setting: You’ll typically work behind a customer service counter, though your exact surroundings depend on the site. Some associates work inside a Whole Foods Market, others in freestanding retail kiosks, partner store lobbies, or warehouse entryways.
  • Activity Level: Expect to be on your feet for most of your shift — walking, bending, lifting, and assisting customers in a fast-paced but manageable rhythm.
  • Temperature: All arenaflex Locker+ sites are climate-controlled, keeping you comfortable year-round.
  • Noise Level: Sound levels are minimal, similar to what you’d experience in a grocery store or quiet retail space.
  • Dress Code: Relaxed and practical. Comfortable closed-toe shoes are required, and protective safety footwear may be required in select business units. arenaflex provides a $110 Zappos gift code to help you purchase appropriate shoes before your first day.
