[Remote] Technical Marketing Engineer

The Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) will translate Megaport’s platform capabilities into deployable architectures for enterprise customers, bridging Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed reference architectures and deployment blueprints across connectivity, compute, and storage solutions
  • Deliver regular technical training for internal teams and customers to ensure consistent, accurate solution positioning across compute, network and storage
  • Create and present technical enablement content including architectural diagrams, implementation guides, lab materials, and solution playbooks
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to deeply understand new capabilities and translate them into field-ready assets
  • Produce content that addresses complex enterprise use cases such as bare metal virtualisation, hybrid and multi-cloud networking, Kubernetes platforms, database workloads, and AI/accelerated compute environments
  • Design and maintain repeatable solution patterns that scale across industries and regions
  • Contribute to thought leadership through whitepapers, solution briefs, and technical deep dives

Skills

  • Extensive hands-on experience in infrastructure, cloud, networking, or platform engineering roles, with the ability to engage credibly with senior enterprise architects and engineers
  • Deep understanding of hybrid cloud architectures, networking fundamentals, and enterprise infrastructure design
  • Strong experience with virtualisation platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes), and enterprise database environments
  • Familiarity with modern workloads including AI/ML infrastructure and GPU-accelerated compute environments
  • Demonstrated ability to create detailed technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides
  • Proven experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles or customer-facing technical engagements
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You can work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
