[Remote] Sr. Software Development Engineer

They are seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer to design and develop digital software applications, analyze user needs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements
  • Determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation
  • Upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability
  • Write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing
  • Support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices
  • Mentor junior team members

Skills

  • Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
  • Two (2) years of experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps
  • Two (2) years of experience with XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
  • Two (2) years of experience with Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles
  • Two (2) years of experience with REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs
  • Two (2) years of experience with JIRA, Rally, or Confluence
  • Two (2) years of experience with Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting
  • Two (2) years of experience with Developing backend services, performing code reviews, and collaborating with peers on software development solutions
  • Two (2) years of experience with Oracle
  • Two (2) years of experience with Web and mobile applications development
  • Two (2) years of experience with Product management in a large, matrixed organization with many internal partner
  • Two (2) years of experience with Agile productivity tools and leading incremental software releases
  • Two (2) years of experience with Developing data and analytics-based platform capabilities, services, or products
  • Two (2) years of experience with Working with UI/UX teams to develop wireframes and prototypes based on end user feedback and human centered design
