[Remote] Staff Machine Learning Engineer

They are seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to develop and monitor AI/ML models that automate processes and turn data into actionable insights, while collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Apply data modeling, machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis to extract and analyze information and build end-to-end solutions to meet organizational objectives
  • Research, experiment with, implement, train, and re-train ML algorithms and tools
  • Engage with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions leveraging ML models and technologies
  • Analyze data and identify differences in data distribution that could impact model performance in real-world use cases using industry leading tools, technologies and best practices
  • Design ML approach, apply appropriate techniques, and develop custom algorithms as needed to address business problems and predict outcomes of interest
  • Apply sampling techniques and investigate adversarial trends, identify behavior patterns, and respond with logic changes
  • Compare models using statistical performance metrics and ensure accuracy of business metrics
  • Visualize, interpret, and report data findings to internal clients and leadership
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers to drive towards business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Skills

  • Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field
  • Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation
  • Three (3) years of experience in Programming in Java, Python, or SQL
  • Three (3) years of experience in Hadoop architecture or HDFS commands
  • Three (3) years of experience in Oracle, Teradata, or DB2
  • Three (3) years of experience in Cloud technologies: Azure, Flexzenith Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Three (3) years of experience in Spark, PySpark, or Scala
  • Three (3) years of experience in Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes
  • Three (3) years of experience in Scripting languages, database languages, and version control
  • Three (3) years of experience in Designing and optimizing queries against data in the HDFS environment
  • Three (3) years of experience in Designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases
  • Three (3) years of experience in Data warehousing
  • Three (3) years of experience in Healthcare data management processes and techniques, including data standards, interoperability, and proper data privacy
  • Three (3) years of experience in Supporting large data, analytics, and technology modernization initiatives
