They are seeking a Copywriting/Social Media Intern to build digital brand awareness through marketing materials and engage clients for their brands.

Responsibilities

  • Write marketing copy
  • Write and distribute press releases
  • Create and disseminate monthly newsletters
  • Create brand awareness via social media platforms
  • Develop a successful social media strategy that builds on our audience base across multiple platforms
  • Write and distribute relevant content to social media
  • Monitor and engage our audiences via our social media platforms
  • Increase fans, likes, and follows
  • Track social media engagement statistics

Skills

  • The candidate must be passionate about public relations and connecting with brands
  • The candidate must be able to write target marketing/social media copy
  • The candidate should possess an aptitude for using various social media platforms for marketing and branding purposes
  • The candidate must have experience developing and writing targeted press releases
  • The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication
  • The candidate should be a self-starter and able to work with minimal to medium supervision
  • The candidate should have at least six months of experience in copywriting, public relations, and/or social media in a professional environment
