[Remote] Business Development Manager (Control)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Nice North America is a subsidiary of Nice S.p.A., an Italian multinational leader in Home and Building Automation. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for establishing and growing a strong presence within the assigned sales region, building customer relationships, and driving sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Builds market position by growing existing business and locating, developing, defining, and closing new business relationships at scale to drive revenue growth
- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners
- Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of the new business relationship and Nice Access technologies
- Interacting with multiple levels of the organization to ensure consistency
- Navigate and operate effectively in a matrix sales organization by driving Regional Sales Managers and providing training, prospecting and technical support
- Represent company at trade shows to network with new & existing customers
- Deliver sales presentations to potential new business
- Analyze and control expenditures of channel to conform to budgetary requirements
- Monitor and evaluate competitors’ activities and products. Provide competitive intelligence
- Developing ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty
- Working jointly with Distribution team to develop monthly promo offers for access products
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned
- Identify and drive long-term strategic partnerships
Skills
- 5 to 7 years' sales experience in channel sales management (rep groups, distributors, accounts) in the Access Control space
- 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated successful sales skills core competencies
- Exceptional negotiation, motivational, relationship-building, and client service skills
- Energetic, dynamic, enthusiastic personality
- Communicate effectively across all internal and external levels
- Self-starter, self-motivated individual comfortable working remotely
- Intermediate to advanced experience in sales reporting utilizing CRM (such as Salesforce.com), and MS Office applications required
- Flexible and adaptable, adjusts to changing priorities in fast-growth, dynamic environment
- Positive attitude, self-motivated and eager to succeed
- Experience with Salesforce or another ERP system a plus
- An interest in consumer electronic products and training in technically related areas to best represent products and relate to the channel
