[Remote] Advertising Media Buyer

They are seeking an Advertising Media Buyer to plan, negotiate, and purchase media across various channels to support their campaigns, while collaborating closely with internal teams to optimize performance and maximize return on ad spend.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, negotiate, and purchase media across digital, social, and traditional channels to support sports and entertainment campaigns
  • Analyze audience data and research media opportunities
  • Build media plans and optimize active campaigns based on performance metrics
  • Collaborate closely with internal marketing, creative, and partnerships teams to align media buys with campaign objectives, budgets, and timelines
  • Prepare performance reports, monitor spend and pacing, and recommend data-backed adjustments to maximize return on ad spend

Skills

  • Experience with media planning and buying across digital platforms (e.g., paid social, programmatic, display, video, search) and, ideally, traditional channels (TV, radio, out-of-home)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data, track KPIs, and optimize bids, budgets, and targeting for performance
  • Proficiency with advertising and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics, DSPs, ad servers, or similar platforms)
  • Capability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, prioritize deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced, remote environment
  • Clear and professional communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, media partners, and stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or equivalent practical experience
  • Comfort working as an independent contractor, including managing your own schedule, tools, and workspace
  • Understanding of sports and entertainment audiences, trends, and media consumption habits is strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in an agency, sports, entertainment, or brand marketing environment is a plus
