[Remote] Senior Lead Platform Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Lead Platform Engineer to collaborate with leads and architects in defining development patterns for REST APIs, while ensuring adherence to enterprise architecture standards and contributing to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Leads and Architects to define development patterns for REST APIs
- Gather requirements, create design documents, and develop, test, and deploy APIs
- Provide technical solutions, enforce coding standards, and address production incidents
- Contribute to continuous improvement while adhering to Enterprise Architecture standards across business, application, integration, data, and infrastructure domains
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or higher, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Five (5) years of experience in Technology, Senior Consultant, or related occupation
- Progressive experience in Java/Java 8
- Progressive experience in Spring MVC
- Progressive experience in Struts 2
- Progressive experience in Oracle
- Progressive experience in JavaJ2EE
- Progressive experience in Junit 5
- Progressive experience in Couch DB
- Progressive experience in REST web services
- Progressive experience in Kafka
- Progressive experience in Docker
- Performing unit testing, utilizing Junit
- Using cucumber for integration testing
- Microservices development, applying the Dropwizard framework
- Utilizing CSS3
- Utilizing Jquery
- Utilizing Hibernate
- Utilizing AJAX
