Position Overview

arenaflex is seeking a dynamic, Series 7‑qualified professional to join our hybrid team in Salt Lake City, UT. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for brokerage‑related client inquiries, blending deep financial knowledge with top‑tier customer service skills. You will navigate complex account‑management scenarios, resolve technical issues, and identify opportunities for process enhancements that elevate the overall client journey. This is a 6‑month contract position with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role, offering a competitive hourly rate of $30‑$32.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Issue Resolution: Act as the first line of support for brokerage complaints, troubleshooting routine technical questions, and guiding clients through product conversions and new product onboarding.
  • Account Management Support: Assist relationship managers and internal partners by providing accurate, timely information on account status, transaction history, and compliance requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify inefficiencies within the customer support workflow, propose actionable enhancements, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement best‑practice solutions.
  • Technical Research & Evaluation: Investigate moderate‑to‑complex technical challenges, conduct root‑cause analysis, and develop clear recommendations for resolution.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain detailed case notes, knowledge‑base articles, and training materials to empower the broader support team.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all client interactions adhere to FINRA, SEC, and internal compliance standards, leveraging your active Series 7 license to guide decisions.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Liaise with internal stakeholders—including compliance, operations, product development, and IT—to facilitate seamless issue escalation and resolution.
  • Customer Education: Provide clients with clear explanations of brokerage processes, platform functionalities, and investment options, fostering informed decision‑making.

Essential Qualifications

  • Active or re‑activatable Series 7 license (must be current or within a two‑year window).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer‑service, financial‑services, or contact‑center environment, demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
  • Hands‑on experience with brokerage operations, including order entry, trade settlement, and account maintenance.
  • Proficiency with arenaflex productivity suite (formerly Microsoft Products) and other standard office tools for documentation and communication.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts in clear, client‑friendly language.
  • Strong analytical mindset, capable of researching technical issues, interpreting data, and presenting concise recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment while aligning with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Customer‑centric attitude with a proven track record of delivering high‑quality service and maintaining client satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience with brokerage platforms such as arenaflex TradeStation, Thinkorswim, or comparable trading systems.
  • Prior exposure to process‑improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) and the ability to lead small‑scale improvement projects.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and ticketing tools to manage client interactions efficiently.
  • Knowledge of securities regulations, including FINRA Rule 3110, SEC Rule 10b‑5, and related compliance frameworks.
  • Multilingual abilities or experience serving a diverse client base.
