Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership: Conduct design reviews, provide expert guidance to fellow engineers, and act as a project lead or facilitator for complex engineering initiatives.
  • Procedure Development: Create, modify, and maintain engineering procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections, and other support activities, ensuring they fill gaps in existing manuals.
  • Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with manufacturers, internal stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to validate engineering practices against material specifications and corporate standards.
  • Problem Solving: Analyze aircraft or component issues that could cause delays, excessive labor, or maintenance disruptions, and recommend effective corrective actions.
  • Support Services: Provide engineering assistance during abnormal situations, helping maintenance and other operational divisions resolve critical issues quickly.
  • Project Planning: Develop work plans for fleet‑wide or multi‑fleet engineering projects, aligning them with operational needs and corporate directives.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive engineering records, ensuring all procedures comply with current and upcoming regulations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 1 year of engineering experience in a related field, or 2 years of experience without a degree.
  • Valid A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) license.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical abilities with a data‑driven decision‑making mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new responsibilities and environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of preparing and delivering clear presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
