Responsibilities
Deliver engaging virtual instruction to students using the school district's virtual platform. Collaborate with in-class facilitators to provide comprehensive support to students. Attend district professional development sessions and faculty meetings. Record and monitor student progress, ensuring their academic success. Foster creativity and enthusiasm in the virtual learning environment. Develop innovative strategies to engage students and cultivate meaningful learning experiences. Design lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum. Maintain accurate records of student grades and performance.
Requirements
Must be authorized to work in the United States and possess a valid New York State public professional teaching certification in Earth Science. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Access to a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet connection. Willingness to participate in an interview and undergo a background check. Prior experience in online teaching is advantageous.
