Reimbursement Account (TRN) Axle is seeking a highly ambitious, adaptable, structured, and detail-oriented Helpdesk Associate to join our vibrant team in Bethesda, MD. Axle Informatics is a bioinformatics and information technology company that offers innovative computer services, informatics, and enterprise solutions to research centers and healthcare organizations around the globe. With experts in software engineering, bioinformatics and program management, we focus on developing and applying technology tools and techniques to empower decision-making and accelerate the discovery in translational research. We work with some of the top research organizations and facilities in the country including multiple institutes at the National Institutes of health (NIH). Responsibilities: • Provide on-site technical assistance and remote support for Service Desk to a mixed Windows, Mac and Linux environment. • Manage Mosyle for Mac management, Microsoft Azure AD, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft SharePoint functions. • Troubleshooting common Office 365 applications issues. • Configuring and troubleshooting LAN and WIFI networking equipment. • Maintain documentation of problems and meet Service Level Agreement Requirements. Review, assign, reconcile and support the management of tickets throughout their life cycle. • Coordinate with IT service providers and communicate outages and plans for recovery. • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues including Apple, Lenovo, Dell, HP laptops and their associated peripherals. • Configure/move IT related furniture including sit/stand desks and monitor arms. • Maintain Audio/Video equipment including and but not limited to conference room equipment. • Assist with IT Inventory duties. Qualifications: • 1-3 year of demonstrated desktop support experience, especially with Apple hardware and OS. • Desktop hardware expertise. • Ability to assemble a computer from scratch, and/or diagnose issues with ease. • Familiarity with network hardware, and its configuration (e.g.- routers, firewalls). • Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organizational skills.
