Our mission is to spread positivity... humor, and creativity through our videos, and we are looking for a talented TikTok Comedy Writer to join our team and help us achieve this goal. Responsibilities: Develop and write 2-3 original comedy sketches per week tailored specifically for TikTok. Collaborate closely with The Skorys team to brainstorm, refine, and execute content ideas. (This would be a mix of coming up with your own/taking ideas from the team and scripting them out) Stay up-to-date with TikTok trends, challenges, and viral content to incorporate into our sketches. Write scripts that align with The Skorys' brand voice and humor style, ensuring content is family-friendly and engaging. Optimize content for TikTok?s algorithm to maximize reach, engagement, and follower growth. Requirements: Proven experience in writing comedy, particularly for short-form video platforms like TikTok, Shorts Or reels. Deep understanding of TikTok?s algorithm, trends, and audience engagement strategies. Strong sense of humor with the ability to write for a family-friendly audience. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a creative team. Familiarity with The Skorys' content, style, and brand voice. Creative and proactive mindset with a passion for social media. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience writing for popular TikTok creators or similar platforms. A portfolio showcasing successful TikTok sketches or similar short-form video content. Understanding of video production and editing basics to enhance storytelling.
