Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and passionate YouTube Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of World of Warcraft (preferably all versions) and experience in editing gameplay footage. You will be responsible for creating educational videos, highlighting key gameplay elements, adding music and sound effects, and ensuring the overall quality of the videos. Key Responsibilities: - Edit gameplay footage to create clear, engaging, and educational videos. - Highlight and emphasize educational aspects of the gameplay, including... strategies, tips, and tricks. - Add appropriate music, sound effects, and voice-over tracks to enhance the viewer's experience. - Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and quality standards. - Collaborate with content creators, scriptwriters, and other team members to deliver cohesive and informative content. - Stay updated with the latest game developments, patches, and meta changes to keep the content relevant. - Manage and organize video assets, ensuring easy access for future projects. - Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the overall content strategy and video production process. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in the gaming or educational content niche. - Strong familiarity with World of Warcraft, including knowledge of various expansions, gameplay mechanics, and community. - Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve, or similar tools. - Ability to add and sync music, sound effects, and voice-overs. - Creative mindset with an eye for detail and storytelling. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. - Basic knowledge of YouTube's algorithms and best practices for video optimization is a plus.
