Job Description
As an entry-level insurance agent at Farmers Insurance, you will sell insurance policies and provide customer service. Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Identifying potential clients through networking, referrals, and leads: First, your job will be identifying individuals or businesses who are potential customers of our insurance products. You will do this by attending networking events, building relationships with current clients and asking for referrals. Explaining insurance policies and coverage options: Through presentations, phone calls, or emails, you will explain the different insurance policies and coverage options we offer to potential clients. Assisting clients in selecting appropriate insurance policies: Once you have explained the options, you will help clients choose the most suitable policy for their needs by analyzing their risks and preferences. Farmers Insurance Quotes: Your role will also cover offering the Farmers Insurance Quotes to the customers. Processing and managing client policies: After selling an insurance policy, you will be responsible for processing and managing all the paperwork and payments related to the policy. Assisting clients with the claims process: If a client needs to file a claim, you will help them in process. Requirements Education: We need well-educated insurance agents with at least a college degree in finance, business or related fields. Skills: We seek individuals proficient in English and French communication with solid sales and negotiation skills and knowledge of the finance industry (particularly insurance). Technology Requirements: Computer with an internet connection (at least 10 Mbps), Webcam for virtual meetings, and a quiet workspace. Basic Knowledge of Insurance: Basic knowledge of insurance terms, policies and industry will be an added advantage. Self-Start: you must be a self-starter who loves to play with challenges.
