Assistant Finance Manager Part Time or Full Time - Remote | WFH

In this role, you will work closely with the Finance Manager, supporting various financial functions including reporting, analysis, bookkeeping, and project implementation. Responsibilities • Collaborate with the Finance Manager to achieve department goals and objectives. • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Generate, review, and analyze financial reports to maintain accuracy and completeness. • Work closely with internal teams and international colleagues on various tasks and projects. • Contribute to budget preparation and forecasting efforts. • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities. • Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently. • Ensure ongoing compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards. • Monitor and manage the company's cash flow and liquidity. • Assist in variance analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities and ways to enhance revenue. • Analyze financial data to provide valuable insights and recommendations. • Act as a back-up for payroll processing and provide ADP Total Source payroll reports as needed. • Prepare financial presentations and reports for senior management. • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for special projects. • Travel twice annually for company meetings and workshops in the Northeast. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Finance or Accounting role. • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop (REQUIRED). • Experience with SAP Business by Design (preferred). • Advanced Excel skills required. • Proficient in MS Outlook, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Strong written, verbal, and presentation abilities. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • Capable of multitasking and prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Exceptional organizational and time management skills. • Must reside in the United States with full work authorization (no sponsorship).
