Employer Industry: Social Services Why Consider This Job Opportunity... • Hourly wage of $16.00 • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of adolescent mothers and their children • Work in a supportive and caring environment focused on personal and professional development • Engage in diverse and fulfilling activities that promote positive youth development • Collaborate with a dedicated team committed to trauma-informed care • Gain experience in the human services field with potential for career advancement What To Expect (Job Responsibilities) • Plan, lead, and implement parenting, educational, independent living skills, and recreational activities during assigned shifts • Build positive relationships with program participants and foster connections with mothers and their children • Manage a group of children, enforcing agency policies and procedures • Document client progress and interactions via online database(s) and report serious incidents as necessary • Teach life skills through daily interactions and assist residents with essential tasks What Is Required (Qualifications) • Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred in Human Services, Education, or Psychology • At least 6 months of experience in the human services or child welfare field working with children and adolescents • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with valid vehicle insurance • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) • Experience with computer software and a solid grasp of trauma-informed care specific to pregnant and parenting populations • Previous work with children and adolescents in a residential setting #SocialServices #HumanServices #YouthDevelopment #CareerOpportunity #TraumaInformedCare At Talentify, we prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
