Job Description
As a Flight Attendant with Delta Airlines, you will be an ambassador of our brand and a cornerstone of our customer service commitment. You’ll ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our passengers while demonstrating an unwavering commitment to exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
– Greet and communicate with passengers in a warm and friendly manner
– Perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties, ensuring all safety and operational protocols are observed
– Serve beverages and meals to passengers, managing special requests with care
– Provide emergency and non-emergency assistance to passengers as needed
– Collaborate effectively with a diverse team of crew members
– Remain calm and poised in all types of situations, including emergencies
– Attend all required training sessions and maintain updated knowledge related to safety procedures and customer service
Requirements
– Minimum age of 18 years
– High school diploma or GED equivalent
– Ability to pass a rigorous background check and drug screening
– Fluent in English with excellent communication skills; additional languages are a plus
– Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
– Physically fit to manage duties which include standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
– Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges
Educational Qualifications
– High school diploma or GED is required
– Higher education or certificates in hospitality, customer service, or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory
Experience
– No prior flight attendant experience is required for this role
– Experience in customer service, hospitality, or related fields is highly desirable
