The FedEx Corporation, a global courier delivery services company, is currently seeking dedicated and proactive individuals to join our team as FedEx SameDay Courier Drivers. This part-time position, requiring less than 4 hours per day, offers a competitive salary and a benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, paid training, and paid vacations.
Job Description:
As a FedEx SameDay Courier Driver, you will be part of a dynamic team that ensures the timely delivery of packages to customers. You will perform pick-up and delivery services within a specified area, maintaining the integrity of the packages being transported. You will be the face of FedEx, interacting with our customers regularly, thus customer service skills are necessary.
Responsibilities:
1. Pick up and deliver packages in a timely manner
2. Follow and navigate GPS routes to ensure deliveries are made on time
3. Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with customers
4. Ensure all delivery documentation is completed accurately
5. Load, unload, and secure packages in the vehicle
6. Comply with all FedEx policies and regulations regarding vehicle maintenance and safety
Requirements:
1. A valid drivers license
2. Must be at least 21 years old
3. Able to lift packages of various sizes, up to 75 lbs.
4. Excellent navigational skills
5. Good communication and customer service skills
6. Prior experience as a courier or delivery driver is preferred
Educational Qualification:
High school diploma or equivalent
