Job Summary:

United Parcel Service (UPS) is seeking a motivated part-time, Non-CDL Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team in providing outstanding service to our customers throughout the US. The ideal candidate will play an integral role in ensuring that our clients receive packages in a timely, safe, and efficient manner. Our driving positions offer competitive hourly wages, flexible work hours under four hours, as well as health, dental, paid training, and paid vacation benefits.

Job Description:

As a Non-CDL Delivery Driver, you will be tasked with delivering packages to various locations on a specific route. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the delivered packages, as well as providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

– Safely operate the delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

– Load and unload packages into the delivery vehicle.

– Follow a specific delivery route to ensure timely delivery.

– Interact with customers professionally, answering any queries they may have.

– Process paperwork, like signatures for delivered goods.

Requirements:

– Valid state driver’s license

– Clean driving record

– Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 70 pounds)

– Excellent communication skills

– Outstanding customer service skills

– Ability to work independently and take initiative

Educational Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

– Previous experience as a delivery driver is a plus but not necessary as comprehensive training will be provided.
