Job Title: Call Center Specialist (Part-Time) – Somerset

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly motivated individual to fill the position of Call Center Specialist for Verizon Communications, at our Somerset location. This position is part-time and requires the successful candidate to work under 4 hours per day. The hourly salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and skills. Our benefit package includes Health and Dental, along with Paid Training and Paid Vacations.

Job Description:

As a Call Center Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in customer service, as you will gain firsthand knowledge and experience in a supportive and professional environment. You will be responsible for handling a plethora of inbound calls, ensuring that each customer’s needs are met while maintaining a high level of professionalism and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

– Answer inbound calls and respond to customer requests

– Provide accurate, relevant and timely information to customers

– Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving customer issues in a timely and efficient manner

– Actively listen to customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions

– Maintain a high level of product knowledge to ensure the ability to understand and explain product features to customers

Requirements:

– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

– A strong customer service orientation

– Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively

– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software

– High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience:

While experience in a call center or customer service role is beneficial, it is not a requirement for this position as we provide comprehensive paid training for all new employees.
