Job Description:
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be on the front lines of our customer service. Your role will encompass a range of tasks including but not limited to, assisting customers, maintaining store appearance, and processing transactions. You will be expected to provide a first-rate shopping experience to all customers through your friendly manner, product knowledge, and commitment to excellent service.
Responsibilities:
– Assist customers in locating and purchasing merchandise
– Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store
– Operate cash registers, manage financial transactions, and balance drawers
– Achieve established goals set for sales
– Respond to customer’s concerns and inquiries professionally and courteously
– Contribute to team effort by meeting and exceeding sales targets
Requirements:
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills
– Proven sales experience would be an advantage
– Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
– Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
Educational Qualifications:
– High School diploma or equivalent
– Previous retail experience will be an advantage but not necessary
