Job Summary
UnitedHealth Group is currently seeking a part-time Healthcare Assistant to join our team. This position offers flexible hours of less than 4 hours per day. We provide an attractive compensation of $15-20 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and dental insurance. Job Description
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide care and support to our patients under the supervision of healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring patient conditions, and providing basic medical care.
Responsibilities
1. Assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and moving around
2. Monitoring patient vitals and documenting their medical histories
3. Providing basic medical care such as changing dressings, administering medication, and supporting with therapeutic treatments
4. Communicating with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a consistent and effective level of care
5. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the patient’s environment
Requirements
1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or medical assistant certification is a plus
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
5. Ability to work with minimal supervision
6. Basic knowledge of healthcare regulations and safety standards
Experience
Previous experience in a healthcare setting, especially in a similar role, will be an added advantage but is not mandatory. Training will be provided to all new hires.
