Job Summary:
If you enjoy working independently and making others happy, FedEx is looking for a full-time Package Delivery Specialist to join our team in San Francisco, CA. This position offers a competitive salary of $50,000 per year, work-life balance with working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Job Description:
As a Package Delivery Specialist, you will be the face of FedEx, responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages to our customers. You will be driving our FedEx vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining professional and positive FedEx image.
Responsibilities:
– Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
– Use a handheld device for routing information and customer delivery information.
– Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.
– Deliver packages and parcels to customers on assigned routes.
– Maintain vehicle and personal documentations as required.
– Interact with customers in a professional manner.
– Work with a team to ensure that deliveries are made on schedule.
Requirements:
– Minimum of 21 years old
– Valid drivers license
– Ability to lift, carry, push and pull packages weighing up to 75 pounds
– Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs throughout your shift
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Good driving record with no traffic violations
– Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Educational Qualifications:
– High School diploma or equivalent
Experience:
– Previous experience in a delivery role is preferred but not mandatory.
