Position Summary The Catering Waiter is responsible for the set-up, execution, and breakdown of events. The ideal candidate is professional, personable, adaptable, and able to work in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment. We ask our team members to maintain excellent attendance and availability to work events as scheduled per business needs. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis Responsibilities Manage availability by updating your schedule to indicate times you can work events. Once accepted, do not cancel events and ensure punctuality for all events. Demonstrate excellence in guest service, interactions with co-workers, and compliance with uniform and grooming standards. Serve passed foods, beverages, or plated meals to guests, replenish food stations or bars, and attend to food stations, bars, buffets, or coat check with comprehensive knowledge of all items. Assist in unloading and loading equipment, products, or goods to and from event venues, capable of handling up to 50 pounds of weight. Maintain cleanliness and organization in both event space and back-of-house areas. Uphold sanitation, health, and safety standards across all areas. Perform any standard duties or tasks assigned related to service setup, execution, and breakdown. Qualifications One or more years of experience as a waiter in a fine dining, large scale dining facility or similar field preferred. Committed to offering exceptional hospitality. Detail-oriented with an ability to multitask. Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
