Remote Medical Data Entry Clerk (Typist)

Job Overview We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Medical Data Entry Clerk for a temporary remote position. Key Responsibilities • Efficiently process customer credit applications in a rapid, high-volume environment. • Maintain precise and comprehensive records of customer credit information. • Address client inquiries and ensure prompt resolution of any issues. • Utilize software tools such as Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook for data entry and client communication. • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required. • Cultivate strong knowledge of 340B account management to meet client needs. • Communicate effectively with clients and vendors, regardless of technical expertise. • Stay informed about updates to the 340B program, including regulations and guidelines. • Assist with inbound customer service calls as part of daily tasks. • Collaborate closely with 340B Account Managers to ensure seamless client management. Required Skills • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook. • Demonstrated experience in high-volume data entry, including numeric and computer-based tasks. • Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on maintaining accuracy under pressure. • Previous experience in handling inbound calls and resolving customer inquiries. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting. • Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities. • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. • Capacity to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion. • Readiness to quickly learn new software and adapt to emerging systems. Qualifications • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position, preferably within the healthcare or manufacturing industries. • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
