A role in Enterprise Product means partnering with product, technology, user experience, data science, and analytics leaders across Digital, Marketing, Supply Chain, Store, Merchandising, Finance, and other business units to enable key strategies that are critical to the enterprise for the experiences we create for our guests. This will involve aligning product strategies, ensuring visibility, mitigating risks, and enabling decision making around the highest value enterprise product priorities. As a Principal Product Manager on the Enterprise Product Team, you will lead the development of an outcome-based enterprise product portfolio planning strategy. You will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing routines to support the enterprise product portfolio, experience strategy, planning, prioritization, and sequencing in alignment with Target’s enterprise business and customer goals. You bring a strong product mindset and related product culture to enable team outcomes. You will need to leverage your extensive enterprise product knowledge, as well as a data-driven approach to influencing stakeholders and making trade-offs in service of delivering value to the business and guest. You will lead scenario planning for executing enterprise product priorities that enable executive leaders to understand and make tradeoffs based on value to be delivered, dependencies and other execution considerations. You will partner closely with product management, product operations, delivery management, user experience, technology, data, business, and strategy leaders across Target to deliver upon these responsibilities. Your ability to collaborate and communicate effectively and to influence senior leaders within the enterprise is critical to success in this role. You are data driven, highly analytical and embrace a test and learn approach. Your responsibilities include: Lead development of planning strategy, inclusive of definition and prioritization of key results, goals, and opportunities in alignment with Target’s business strategies Define and implement routines to support enterprise-level product portfolio planning strategy, prioritization, and sequencing in alignment with Target’s long term business strategies Facilitate sequencing of enterprise-level product priorities using customer-centric service design practices to identify customer and organizational impacts, and orchestrate alignment of impacts and dependencies Proactively identify, surface, and manage risks that may impact enterprise strategic outcomes; facilitate decision making on priorities, scope, and sequencing Establish and manage effective relationships with business and product leaders (product, tech, ux, data) across the enterprise portfolio Core responsibilities of this job are described in this job description. About you: Four-year degree or equivalent experience 10+ years product experience or mix of product and adjacent enterprise level experience in a product led organization Extensive experience managing products in a portfolio context including driving decisions around prioritization and planning based on value Expert at working in an agile environment within an enterprise-scale product organization Ability to plan and set a strategy, define enterprise Organizational Key Results (OKRs), communicate and drive business outcomes Growth oriented, strategic mindset with a strong bias for action and experience leading large-scale planning and prioritization activities Proven track record of building strong working relationships and influencing executive leaders across functions and businesses Proven ability to successfully lead a diverse team through ambiguity Experience with technology and ability to facilitate communication between business, product, ux, and technology teams This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
