Remote ASL Instructor - Online Teaching | WFH
Job Overview We are currently seeking dedicated and innovative American Sign Language (ASL) instructors to become a part of our dynamic team, delivering high-quality online education to middle and high school students. Our courses cater to learners aged 12 to 18, who are acquiring ASL as part of their high school world language requirements. We provide a diverse array of courses, encompassing levels 1 through 6 and conversational ASL, with an emphasis on developing practical communication skills. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging one-on-one online ASL lessons utilizing Microsoft Teams. Assign homework and provide constructive feedback on assignments and projects. Monitor and evaluate student progress, grades, and overall performance. Maintain a strong emphasis on student engagement and success. Create a welcoming and respectful environment for all students. Required Skills Proficiency in teaching ASL with a commitment to fostering a student-centered and interactive learning atmosphere. Familiarity with online teaching platforms, particularly Microsoft Teams. Strong interpersonal abilities to effectively connect with students and enhance their learning experience. Qualifications A minimum of 1-2 years of experience teaching ASL, either in an online or classroom setting. ASL interpreting expertise is a desirable asset. A Bachelors Degree is required. Competence in technology and Microsoft Office applications.

Compensation
And Benefits Hourly rates will be determined based on teaching experience, education, and relevant qualifications.
