Position: Special Education Teacher Location: Virtual/Remote South Carolina Duration: Full Time; 2024-2025 School Year Caseload: 3 positions available. 2 Full Time and 1 Part Time. Middle School and High School. Key Responsibilities: • Provide Specialized Instruction: Develop and tailor lessons across subjects to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students, employing innovative methods to support both academic and social development. • Develop and Implement IEPs: Create and regularly update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with clear goals and strategies to address each student’s unique learning needs, with a particular focus on the Transition section. • Support Behavioral and Emotional Growth: Implement strategies to manage behaviors, foster a positive learning environment, and help students build social skills and emotional resilience. • Collaborate with the Education Team: Work closely with teachers, specialists, and families to ensure a cohesive approach to student education, actively participating in meetings and maintaining ongoing communication.
