Req Id: 23122 Job Title: Content Creator for Online Assessments 4 - Student Clerical City: West Lafayette Job Description: Job Summary The Content Creator will aid instructors in creating and migrating content for online assessments. In this role, students will create randomized algebra problems in an online assessment platform. The successful candidate will be able to work with limited supervision, demonstrate trustworthiness by maintaining the confidentiality of course and assessment content, and be attentive to detail. The pay is $12.50/hr. It is a fully remote position; hours are flexible but we want students to commit to 10-20 hr/wk for 8-16 weeks. Students can work remotely from within the US only. Job Duties • Creating new or modifying existing algebra assessment problems • Inputting problems into online assessment platform • Verifying accuracy and robustness of problems in online assessment platform Required Experience • Strong background in quantitative disciplines, such as Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering • Able to work 10 - 20 hours per week • Ability to work independently and on a team • Effective communication skills (written & verbal) • Desire to learn and improve • Discretion in handling confidential information • Ability to quickly learn new software • Have passed MA 161/162 or equivalent with A or B grade Preferred Experience: • Experience with LaTeX or computer programming FLSA Status Non-Exempt Posting Start Date: 3/8/24 Apply Job!
