Senior Analyst, Latin Pricing - Latin Carrier Insights

United States, Georgia, Atlanta Revenue Management 02-Dec-2024 Ref #: 26928 How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Become a member of Latin America Revenue Management at Delta on the Carrier Insights team. The Latin America Pricing organization proactively manages Delta’s fare structures in Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and South America and is responsible for maximizing the revenue generated on each flight by aligning customer demand with willingness to pay and offering the optimal mix of fare products. As a member of the Carrier Insights team, you will help towards revenue optimization by monitoring our competitors’ pricing actions and entity performance, leveraging your knowledge of our competitors to make recommendations on Delta’s pricing action response and pointing out opportunity areas to improve revenue performance relative to our peers. Latin Carrier Insights Team Functions • Be an expert of assigned competitor airline pricing strategies as well as revenue/share performance, contextualizing insights for the broader Latin Revenue Management team and recommending appropriate competitive actions and/or opportunity guidance • Provide insights from monitoring competitor fare and rule changes to foreshadow network changes, financial performance, or strategic policy changes • Identify and analyze competitor changes to the pricing environment by determining the scope and impact to Delta’s price competitiveness and recommend/implement appropriate pricing adjustment • Monitor, initiate and communicate pricing actions including changes to fare levels, fare rules, policies and pricing strategy execution excellence • Ensure Delta’s pricing is on strategy and accurate through timely updates of tools and confirmed through shopping • Proactively engage with broader Latin Revenue Management teams to manage Delta’s fare structure including prices and fare rules. • Work in tandem with the Pricing Solutions Team to manage the strategic positioning and reporting of Basic Economy and other Branded Product performance • Offer technical core pricing support and be a fare rule subject matter expert to the broader pricing organization • Partner with ATPCO, all Global Distribution Systems, the Commercial teams and other stakeholders to develop, support and enhance the functionality of automated pricing and distribution systems Benefits and Perks to Help You Keep Climbing
