Learn more at: telusdigital.com Position Overview The Tech GTM Lead will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive GTM strategy specific to the tech startup and scale up sector. This role holds a revenue influence target and requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions, define sales plays, and drive demand generation efforts. The ideal candidate is someone who has demonstrable experience leading or managing customer experience at fast growing tech companies. As a practitioner and subject matter expert, you are intimately aware of the CX challenges that tech startups face and can engage clients with practical solutions that drive acquisition and growth. GTM Strategy Development and Execution • Define and implement a vertical-specific Go-To-Market plan aligned with company objectives. • Develop industry-specific sales plays and tailor solutions to meet market needs. • Collaborate with product, strategy, and solutions teams to create reusable assets. Revenue Influence • Hold and achieve revenue influence targets by driving strategic initiatives. • Support sales teams in high-impact pitches with industry expertise and insights. • Identify and nurture key opportunities within the retail and ecommerce sector. Demand Generation • Drive industry-specific lead generation in collaboration with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Growth Marketing teams. • Track, report, and analyze demand generation performance to optimize strategies. • Implement initiatives to improve lead quality and conversion rates. Subject Matter Expertise • Stay updated on industry trends, challenges, and competitive landscape. • Share insights and best practices internally to strengthen the team's knowledge base. • Act as a spokesperson for the company in industry forums and client engagements. Cross-functional Collaboration • Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment of GTM strategies with overall business goals. • Provide market feedback to product and solutions teams for continuous improvement. • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications

Education • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus. Experience • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the High Tech sector. • Proven track record in developing and executing GTM strategies. • Experience holding revenue targets and influencing sales outcomes. Skills and Competencies • Deep understanding of retail and ecommerce industry dynamics. • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and presentation abilities. • Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
