Virtual SLP in New York - Help Students Thrive Remotely Position Type: Full-Time, 1099 Contract Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible hours Caseload: PreK-12 Start Date: January - May Pay Range: $50-$58 per hour (DOE) About VocoVision: VocoVision is a trusted provider of teletherapy services, offering speech therapy, occupational therapy, and mental health services to students in need. We are looking for a qualified Speech Language Pathologist in New York to provide virtual speech therapy to PreK-12 students. Responsibilities: • Evaluate students’ speech and language abilities through virtual assessments. • Develop personalized therapy plans based on each student's goals. • Deliver evidence-based speech therapy sessions in a virtual setting. • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other team members to track progress and meet educational needs. • Document student progress and provide updates on therapy effectiveness. • Participate in virtual IEP meetings and offer input into students' educational plans. • Provide training and guidance to educators and families on speech development strategies. Qualifications: • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). • New York educator certification required. • Minimum of two years’ experience in school settings (clinical experience may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis). • Experience with virtual therapy platforms preferred. • High-speed internet and updated computer for teletherapy services.
