About the position The Apple TV Tester position at Orion Innovation involves testing video and over-the-top (OTT) applications, specifically focusing on Apple TV or TV OS. Responsibilities • Test video and OTT applications, particularly Apple TV or TV OS. , • Demonstrate a foundational understanding of SQA methodologies and practices. , • Detect bugs and perform regression testing effectively. , • Own a complete functional area of an application or product. , • Deliver high-quality work on tight schedules. , • Explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. , • Utilize QA tools and automation extensively. , • Use proxy tools to debug data flows from applications to services. , • Comfortably use command line tools. Requirements • Experience in testing video and OTT applications. , • Foundational understanding of SQA methodologies and practices. , • Proven bug detection and regression skills. , • Ability to manage a complete functional area of an application or product. , • Strong analytical skills and flexibility. , • Extensive experience with QA tools and automation. , • Comfortable using command line (terminal). , • Experience with JavaScript, Python, SQL, and Shell scripting is a plus. Nice-to-haves • Video knowledge is desirable.
