In this remote position, you will collaborate closely with project managers and key stakeholders to maintain current schedules, deliver accurate projections, and facilitate financial reporting throughout the lifespan of major projects. Your role is vital in upholding schedule integrity and providing actionable insights to enhance project outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Schedule Management: Develop, update, and sustain project schedules in partnership with the project team. • Review and Communication: Conduct thorough schedule reviews to ensure compliance with best practices and deliver constructive feedback to the project team. • Comprehensive Planning: Engage in all stages of the construction planning and scheduling process, from proposal schedules to baseline creation and continual updates. • Collaboration: Participate in project meetings, particularly focusing on scheduling, to offer insights and address scheduling-specific issues. • Contract Insights: Familiarize yourself with construction contract terms and their influence on scheduling practices. • Performance Measurement: Aid in tracking performance, analyzing schedule trends, and implementing corrective measures as necessary. • Reporting: Produce in-depth scheduling management reports and provide resource-loaded schedules alongside risk assessments. • Technical Expertise: Utilize project drawings and specifications to create accurate schedules and ensure logical alignment of all planned activities. Required Skills • Proficiency in schedule management tools and methodologies. • Strong grasp of project planning and financial reporting. • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities for effective cross-team engagement. • Capability to analyze schedules, identify trends, and propose viable solutions. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred). • Equivalent relevant experience may be acceptable in lieu of a degree. • A minimum of 5 years of experience in planning and scheduling (preferred).
