About Us: We’re a Boston-based brand with a twist – our viral QR t-shirts spark reactions, laughter, and a whole lot of fun. We’re looking to build a content creation team that can help us grow by creating TikTok and Instagram videos that catch attention and get people talking. If you love social media, enjoy being creative, and can turn everyday moments into viral content, we want you on our team! Job Overview: As a Part-Time Content Creator & Strategist, you’ll be responsible for brainstorming, creating, and editing short-form video content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels. You'll work remotely but will meet with the team in person once a week in the Boston area for strategy, brainstorming, and content review sessions. Responsibilities: • Brainstorm and pitch creative content ideas that fit our brand’s style and tone. • Create 5-10 TikTok/Instagram videos per week based on provided strategies and trends. • Edit videos using apps like CapCut, Splice, or similar tools to ensure high-quality, engaging content. • Be in front of the camera for some videos or arrange for others to be featured. • Attend a weekly in-person content review and strategy meeting in the Boston area. • Understand and apply insights from platform analytics to improve future content. Requirements: • Located in the Boston area and available for weekly in-person meetings. • Strong familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short-form content creation. • Proven experience creating short-form content (please provide examples of TikToks or Reels you’ve made). • Ability to film high-quality videos using a smartphone. • Basic video editing skills using apps like CapCut, Splice, or InShot. • Comfortable being on camera or finding people to feature in videos. • Self-starter who can create content independently and meet deadlines. • Creative mindset with a sense of humor and an eye for trends. Work Schedule: • Flexible hours: Work 10-15 hours per week on your own schedule. • Must attend a weekly in-person team meeting for content review and brainstorming. Compensation: • Set weekly rate based on meeting expectations for video quality and quantity (5-10 videos per week). • Retention and payment are contingent on meeting content creation requirements.
