For other SEU employment opportunities please refer to our employment page: https://www.seu.edu/campus-life/campus-services/employment/ Position Summary: Main Campus / Online Adjunct Instructors assist in Southeastern University's academic mission by teaching courses at our main campus or online. Adjunct assignments are offered on an irregular basis, and are subject to change in response to the University's academic needs. Main campus / online instructors must interact with students weekly to include timely reply to student’s discussion board posts and emails, and timely grading of student’s assignments. Additionally, main campus and online instructors must maintain communication with department chairs. Essential Qualifications: Must have a master’s degree, with at least 18 hours of completed graduate coursework in the discipline area of interest from a regionally accredited institution. Ability to integrate faith and learning. Sufficient availability for regular and substantive student interaction, including timely assignment grading and email support. Excellent oral and written language skills. Outstanding Christian character. Positive recommendations from applicable department chair or college dean. Preferred Qualifications: More than 18 hours of graduate course work in a discipline, as well as professional experience in the discipline, needed to teach various courses.
