Job Overview We are actively seeking dynamic and committed Substitute Teachers to become a part of our vibrant team within a multilingual educational setting. This role is designed for individuals who can seamlessly step into classrooms for K-8 students in English or Spanish language immersion programs, ensuring an uninterrupted and engaging educational experience. Key Responsibilities • Arrive and check in with the Front Desk or Administrative Assistant upon entering the school premises. • Maintain the continuity of daily classroom routines and foster an organized, positive learning environment. • Implement the lesson plans laid out by the regular teacher to deliver consistent instruction. • Supervise student activities and behavior, ensuring adherence to school conduct standards. • Keep accurate records, including attendance and other essential documentation. • Comply with all school policies, procedures, and standards relevant to regular teaching staff. • Utilize remote learning tools such as Google Classroom, Zoom, and other platforms as required. • Communicate effectively with the classroom teacher and school administration regarding student progress and any arising concerns. • Execute additional duties as assigned by school administration.
