About the position The Director of Finance for Maybelline and Essie at L'Oréal is a strategic role responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis within the Consumer Products Division. This position serves as a finance business partner, collaborating closely with marketing and other departments to ensure accurate financial management and compliance. The director will lead a high-performing team, manage budgets, and provide insights to senior management, contributing to the overall financial performance of the brands. Responsibilities Lead and manage a high performing finance team. , Influence and provide thought leadership across the Consumer Products Division. , Direct the coordination and administration of the annual business plan, budget, and three-year plan. , Prepare, analyze, and transmit divisional finance reports in accordance with corporate requirements. , Manage cost control and conduct budget meetings with departmental managers. , Serve as the primary support for all finance-related issues for operating departments. , Inform senior management about financial conditions within the assigned area. , Lead ad-hoc financial strategic projects and coordinate fund reallocations. , Liaise with project management, manufacturing, and accounting for financial activities. , Perform supervisory tasks including interviewing, training, and performance management. Requirements 10+ years of experience in finance or accounting, including supervisory/management experience. , Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economy, Business Administration, or Accounting required. , MBA or CPA preferred. , Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. , Excellent leadership, oral and written communication, and presentation skills. , Ability to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. , Expert-level experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. , Experience with Power BI and visualization dashboards is a plus. , Financial reporting experience and use of SAP highly desirable. , Data analytics skills are a plus.
