Background on the Team The Global Stewardship Team is an integral part of MSIM’s governance and stewardship function. Responsible for overseeing and executing the firm’s proxy voting strategy, the team plays a vital role in upholding shareholder rights and ensuring corporate accountability across global investments. The team evaluates and votes on a wide range of corporate governance matters, including board composition, executive compensation, environmental and social issues. Working closely with investors to ensure voting decisions align with the firm’s policies. Primary Responsibilities The Senior Associate on the Global Stewardship Team will play a key role in the analysis, evaluation and execution of proxy voting activities for portfolio companies. This individual will provide expertise in environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with our stewardship goals and voting policies.
