As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be assisting clients who have won their benefits and ensuring the firm receives all fees owed by the Social Security Administration in a timely manner. Remote work from home positions available only in the following states: Texas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. In this role you will: • Deal directly with SSA on all matters pertaining to the receipt of favorable decisions and fee collections • Work closely with the firm's accounting and finance department to help maximize the timely receipt of accounts receivables • Serve as a point of contact for clients who have won their benefits To be successful in this role you will need: • High School Diploma; Degree preferred; or equivalent combination • Accounts Receivable and/or accounting experience a plus • Customer service experience • Excellent telephone, communication, and active listening skills • Ability to meet performance standards whether in office or working remotely from home • Strong people skills • Minimum 40 WPM typing speed • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred • Prior experience with Social Security Disability representative fee payment processes a plus Minimum Requirements for a Remote Home Office: • Computer with up-to-date operating system (No Macs, Chromebooks, Tablets) • Fast internet connection (20MB+) • Wired Ethernet cable Internet connection in your home office • Land line telephone or good cell phone signal in home office • Quiet, private home office with no distractions during business hours • Reside in one of the above listed states Physical Requirements: • Remote home office setting; sitting, keyboarding, visual w/monitor, use of telephone, computer.
