About the position As a Claims Advocate II - Process at Uber, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the broader USCAN Claims team by enabling process excellence across several internal teams. Your primary responsibility will be to drive continuous improvement initiatives that ensure the team is well-positioned for the dynamic work that underpins our complex insurance program. This position is integral to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our claims processes, which are essential to our operations and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will design and implement best-in-class processes for internal claims functions, including First Notice of Loss and Inquiry Response. You will create thorough and accurate process documentation for evolving claims processes, new Uber products and policies, and system changes. Establishing a framework for maintaining and improving Uber Claims' suite of process documentation will be a key focus, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and reflective of current practices. You will partner with Uber Claims Quality Assurance and Learning & Development teams to deliver feedback on process adherence and obtain feedback on process design. Conducting process analysis to identify opportunities for efficiency and optimization will be part of your responsibilities, as well as liaising with Claims Leadership to implement necessary process improvements. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders in Risk Management & Legal will be essential to ensure accurate, timely, and comprehensive updates to processes and documentation. Ultimately, you will set the long-term strategy for Uber Claims process excellence, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
