Overview
The Home Equity Loan Processor I is responsible for ensuring proper documentation is disclosed, ordered, collected, and verified in order to disburse funds for consumer fixed home equity loans and home equity lines of credit while adhering to STCUs loan standards and Federal regulations. In Short Partner with loan officers in processing loan applications. Create electronic or mail disclosure document packets. Prepare loan packets for closing. Perform job duties with minimal supervision. Assist loan officers and members with inquiries. Provide operational support to the Lending Center. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Adapt to changes and solve practical problems. Handle a fast-paced work environment. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required. Preferred one-year experience in consumer loan processing. Proficient in MS Office programs. LoansPQ experience preferred.
